A day in Derby

Derbyshire is the county next to Nottinghamshire. I made my way over there via the bus last week with Amy. Its a beautiful place full of culture and shops. Though it is spelled Derby, it is pronounced  Darby. In this county sits a huge Mall (marketplace) and is totally Americanized, it was massive. Its funny, the Brits love Kentucky Fried Chicken! - When I went to the food court, I wanted to try something interesting and new, and the longest line in the place was for KFC.. though here in the UK it tastes a bit different.. Also, as a fat American, when you ask for a LARGE size meal, it is the equivalent of our medium, with no ice.
The shops are darling, the architecture is beautiful. This is also the home of the Rolls Royce company, where Mary Queen of Scots spent her last night before being killed, and many other historic events.
Amy and I took a spin on the GIANT ferris wheel in the middle of town, which had an audio tour - you can see and hear it below in my video! It was a great birds eye view of everything...
