  • I  hate to say it, but we are fat americans. I have yet to see one obese person here, and if I have it was rightfully a senior citizen without much choice.
  • There is no such thing as super size anything, Soda is only one size (compared to our smallish/medium), portions are  just right and everyone either walks, rides a bike or does some sort of exercising.
  • A big thing is being ECO friendly, all power outlets have on/off switches in order to save power.
  • Everyone is expected to recyle.
  • All homes are made out of Brick, why? Because they are built to last.
  • Ive seen hardly ANY litter, as there are trash barrels all over the place.
  • There are NO commercials advertising medication allowed, they find it un-necessary to sell such things on tele.
  • The bus systems is un-real, each bus stop has a computer screen that tells you when the next bus is arriving, 8 minutes, 7 minutes, 6 minutes, and sure enough its always on time!
  • People are just JOLLY here, Ive yet to meet a mean or un-kind person, even the cab drivers are overly nice. When I was asked "how did you find London?" - I thought he meant, how did I find it? So I answered "we took a 3 hour bus to Victoria Station and got there!"... to his laughing reply, he said, that means.."how did you like London".  hah.
  • Everyone is stylish, even men wear the most fashionable of things. Gay and Lesbian people seem to be fully acceptable here, as well as marriage.. I mean, when you had Elton John, Boy George and George Michael, not to mention all the other mo's in the past, you'd have to get used to it!
  • Every pack of cigarettes has a big sticker on it that says "Smoking Kills", some of them even show a smokers lungs.
  • There are a TON of thrift shops, each of them is to benefit an organization, such as elderly, cancer, red cross,  homeless and so forth = super good idea.
  • Overall, Id love a green card to move here one day, all I need is a husband.
  • God Save The Queen.
